Trevor Wick

In our homegroup we often say about the encouraging  and discernable  aroma of the presence of the Holy Spirit in our Sunday Worship, and how we long for it to be so noticeable every week that people are drawn to the radiance of Christ , whose Spirit HE is. That radiance that is the reflection of the Fathers Glory is in people as well as places.
One Sunday just before Trevor had to go in to a nursing home , he and Johnny were reading the 2 lessons in the Communion Service at ST Os. It was an effort for them to get up to the lectern , and Trevor faultered  a little. Members of our homegroup will say ,if they were present on that Sunday, that it was one of the most anointed times of worship we ever had, and that if we had gone on singing and worshipping longer, not only would the angels have joined in but singing in tongues would have gone through the rafters.
Trevor is now with his Lord, and we all thank God for him, and his ministry amongst us, and his enthusiasm for Body Ministry and all things in the Anglican Renewal Movement, especially the Healing Ministry.

St Oswalds Filey  2pm 11th July. Wear something bright!
