June Flowers

One thing I've noticed about the wild flowers in June is that white is the dominant colour thanks to Hogweed, Elder and Yarrow. Here is some Hogweed Heracleum sphondylium;


but there are still some splashes of color, notably Common Spotted Orchid Dactylorhiza fuchsii


and Meadow Cranesbill Geranium pratense.

  1. Masses and masses of Ox -eye daisies in the meadow , along side roads and even motorways . dont think I have ever seen so many.
