Birds are remarkable in that they not only travel half way round the world to breed in the same area as last year, but to the same ledge and the same spot exactly.
The cliffs at Bempton, and the activity in this bird metropolis, never cease to amaze me.
How fortunate we are to have such activity on our doorstep, and how humbling it is to remember again how fearfully, wonderfully made are all God's creatures.
And how fortunate we will be when, in God's good time, he brings us to the very spot which he has prepared for us to spend eternity with him.
What a home-coming that will be!
